Thank you to all the Grandparents who joined us for GRANDPARENT DAY this year. This special day acknowledges the hard work, commitment, faith and love that grandparents sow into the lives of their grandchildren, often bringing and collecting from school, helping with homework, attending outings and even helping in classrooms.
The look of love and pride in the eyes of our visitors speaks volumes for the unique bond that exists between grandparents and their grandchildren. A huge thank you to our Year 3’s for their very moving liturgy. They spoke and sung so beautifully, that you could not help but be moved.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Following our Grandparent Day Liturgy was our school mission fair, in which both our students and their grandparents enjoyed. From chocolate tosses, hit the teacher with the wet sponges to sausage sizzles and zooper doopers, there was plenty of fun activities for everyone. The smiling faces in our photos say it all! We raised a total of $2694.55 for the Missions.
