Each semester we organise at least one excursion or show for most classes across our school, this provides a great opportunity for the students to explore an area with the knowledge they have learnt throughout the semester or enjoy a show. Cost of excursions are incorporated into your quarterly school fees where necessary.
Students at St Joseph's are also given two opportunities to attend camp in the upper primary years. Cost of camps is borne by parents, however, some fund raising activities may take place to assist in reducing financial outlay.
YEAR 5 LEADERSHIP
CAMP
In Term 4 of Year 5, students are encouraged to attend an overnight leadership camp in preparation for their role as beginning leaders in the following year. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about some of their responsibilities in the following year. The excursion is held at Seaforth Pines Outdoor and Education Centre, Seaforth.
YEAR 6 LEADERSHIP
CAMP
In Term 4 of Year 6, students are given the opportunity to attend a 3 day long camp at Airlie Beach. This challenges the students to perform tasks and learn to work as a team and adopt leadership qualities.
