We had a wonderful turn out for the basketball gala day on Monday 16th August. We were so proud of all our students. Not only did they play their hearts out but they were all so well behaved throughout the whole day.
The Future Stars girls team won their division by beating all the girl’s teams in their pool. Amazing effort girls! The Future Stars boys team came runners-up in a very hands-on game against Whitsunday Anglican School. The Year 6 Stars came third overall, a great effort – you all played really well together as a team. The rookie teams all had a lot of fun learning the rules and playing the game. There were a few wins and a few losses, but a great day was had by all.
Thank you so much to Mrs McLennan for all her organisation and all the parents/guardians for taking your children to and from the venue. It was great to see so many students involved in such a fun day.
