Beginning the Season of Lent

As we begin the sacred season of Lent with Ash Wednesday, we are invited to undertake a journey of repentance, reflection, and renewal.  

It’s a time where Christians are called to think about their faith, make some positive changes, and grow closer to God. Let’s use this season to focus on prayer, giving up something special, and doing good.    

The ashes we receive today remind us to stay humble and keep our hearts open to God. As we go through Lent, let’s support each other and find strength in reflecting on Jesus’ journey to the cross.
