Bishop Michael McCarthy Visit

Our school was blessed to receive a visit from a number of special visitors. These included Bishop Michael McCarthy, Bishop of Rockhampton, Diocesan Director of Catholic Education - Mr Michael McCusker and Assistant Director, Schools Northern Region - Mr David Paul.

This was a fabulous opportunity for our visitors to spend time with both students and staff, as they visited each classroom. Our students enjoyed the opportunity to engage in great conversations, ask interesting questions and spend time with our special visitors, who enjoyed the warm and welcoming community of St Joseph’s.

We are extremely grateful that Bishop Michael, Mr McCusker and Mr Paul were able to spend time with us and thank them for their time and support.
