Opening School Mass and Leadership Ceremony

 Our St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School community came together to celebrate a beautiful Opening Mass and Year 6 Leadership Commissioning, marking the beginning of our 2026 school year. Led with warmth, joy, and deep faith by Fr Andrew, our Opening Mass set a wonderful tone for the year ahead.

In his homily, Fr Andrew reminded us that God calls each of us — students and teachers alike — to use our gifts, serve others, and be a positive presence in our community. His message encouraged us to recognise the unique purpose we each carry and to step into the new school year with courage and openness.

We were especially proud of our Year 6 leaders, who made their pledges with confidence and enthusiasm. We know they will lead with kindness, responsibility, helpfulness, care, courage and the true spirit of St Joseph.
