This week we were very excited to be able to host our very own Minecraft esports competition at St. Joseph’s. Students in years 3-6 were invited to nominate in teams of 2-4 students and participated during their lunchtime in the Makerspace. Students were presented with a build challenge, then had 2 minutes of planning time, followed by 15 minutes of build time. Ms Morrison, Mrs McKenzie and our St. Joseph’s Minecraft team judged our winners and distributed prizes and certificates for each year level. Builds were judged on; challenge met, viability, creativity and technical skills. Congratulations to our winning teams:
