As part of their Year 1 sustainability project, Year 1 have been learning about the benefits of using a worm farm at school to reduce the amount of lunchbox waste going into our bins each day. Ms Jansen and Miss Jeston led the Year 1 students through the process of setting up this worm farm as a class. Thank you to Bunnings Mackay for generously donating our worm farm bin. Our year 1 students will continue to use their brainbreak scraps to maintain the worm farm.
